Privacy Policy

The short version: PeachRep counts your squats entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework. Your camera feed is never recorded, never uploaded, and never leaves your iPhone. We don't run ads and we don't sell your data.
PeachRep ("the app", "we", "us", or "our") is built and operated by Larbsoft. We believe a fitness app should respect your body and your privacy in equal measure. This policy explains what information the app does — and does not — collect, and how it is handled.
1. The camera & squat detection
PeachRep uses your iPhone's camera to count squats and give you real-time form feedback. This is the most important thing to understand about our privacy practices:
- All processing happens on your device. Squat and pose detection runs locally using Apple's on-device Vision framework.
- Your camera feed is never recorded. Frames are analysed in real time to detect movement and discarded immediately.
- Nothing is uploaded. No images, no video, and no pose data are ever transmitted to us or any third party.
- The camera is only active while you're squatting. Access is requested only when you start a squat session and stops as soon as you finish.
You can grant or revoke camera permission at any time in your device's Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera. Without camera access, squat counting cannot function, but the rest of the app remains available.
2. Screen Time & app locking
To lock and unlock apps, PeachRep uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls / Managed Settings) APIs. These work in a privacy-preserving way:
- Your selection of apps and categories is managed by the operating system and stored on your device. Apple does not share the specific identities of the apps you choose with us.
- PeachRep cannot see your browsing history, the content inside your apps, or how you use apps beyond the locking mechanism it controls.
3. Information stored on your device
The app keeps your progress so you can track it over time. The following is stored locally on your device:
- Squat counts, session history, streaks, and estimated calories.
- Earned screen-time minutes and your app-lock preferences.
- App settings and preferences.
If you use iCloud backups, this data may be included in your device's standard iCloud backup, which is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and protected by your Apple account — not accessible to us.
4. Leaderboards & leagues
PeachRep includes leagues and leaderboards you can compete on to stay motivated. Your standings are generated on your device, so competing doesn't require creating a profile, sharing your information with other users, or sending your activity to us.
5. What we don't do
- We don't show ads.
- We don't sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
- We don't use third-party advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs.
- We don't build advertising profiles from your activity.
6. Analytics & diagnostics
We use our own custom analytics to understand how the app is used — for example, which features people use and how the app performs — so we can fix issues and keep improving PeachRep. This is limited to in-app activity and contains no personal identifiers: it isn't tied to your name, contact details, or any profile, and it's never used to identify you, build an advertising profile, or shared with or sold to third parties. We may also rely on Apple's standard crash reports to diagnose problems.
7. Children's privacy
PeachRep is not directed to children under the age required by law in your region. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can address it.
8. Your rights
Because the vast majority of your data lives only on your device, you remain in control of it. You can delete all locally stored data at any time by deleting the app. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights regarding any personal data we process (such as access, correction, or deletion). 9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or the App Store listing.
